Which Essential Oils India are right for the job of glowing mature skin? Aromatic oils are nature’s liquid healing wonders. Plants need to create new cells, defend themselves against oxidative radicals, and promote their own fitness just as much as humans do. These aromatic oils are very suitable for our own health and well-being. Countless essential oils have been investigated over time, and some stand out as special medicines for our skin. Using it to create your personal formula is a simple task. Mix a small amount of essential oil with the right (and therapeutic) seed or nut oil in just the right concentration and voila! Let’s take a look at carrier oils, also called ‘base’ oils. Cold-pressed oils from seeds, nuts and fruits that form the basis of all our formulas. These natural oils make up 95-98% of the blend, with essential oils added as ‘active ingredients’. Avocado is the first on the list, included in many recipes because of its hydrating and nutritional properties. Avocados are particularly suitable for dry skin and should make up about 1/5 of the ‘basic’ of dry to normal skin. Here are apricot kernels that are highly recommended for dry to normal skin or irritated and damaged skin. Apricots can make up the entire base if desired. Evening primrose is a nutritious oil that is high in essential fatty acids important for building healthy tissues. Evening Primrose can be made up to 1/4 of the base. Hazelnut oil is very common in skin care blends as it is well tolerated by all skin types. Since it is slightly astringent, it can be especially useful for those with oily skin tendencies. Applying ‘oil’ to an already ‘oily’ complexion seems contradictory, but hazelnuts are recommended in the most advanced medical aromatherapy textbooks for this purpose. Hazelnuts can make up up to 100% of the base. Perhaps the most important carrier oil to consider for mature skin is rosehip seed. Pressed from wild rose seeds from South America, these seeds contain a research-proven vitamin A compound that acts like natural ‘Retin A’ to enhance skin’s natural renewal. , smooths fine lines, supports healthy skin that can withstand sun damage, and evens out skin tone. Rosehip seeds can and should make up up to 1/4 of the basic recipe.
